KETAMINE-ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY DENVER CO

Discover a gentle doorway into deeper healing with Ketamine Therapy

Integrative Psychedelic Therapy to help you release old patterns, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and move toward a greater sense of peace, clarity, and freedom.

Ready to experience healing from a different perspective?

Many people seeking Ketamine Therapy are feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, grief, or emotional numbness. They may have tried traditional therapy or medication and still feel disconnected from themselves, their relationships, or a deeper sense of meaning and aliveness.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) combines evidence-based treatment with holistic, soul-centered care, helping you to access non-ordinary states of consciousness within a safe, therapeutic setting.

Ketamine works by temporarily quieting the brain’s default mode network (DMN) while increasing neuroplasticity — the brain’s capacity to form new patterns and perspectives. From this expanded state, many people experience greater emotional openness, insight, compassion, and flexibility, allowing deeply rooted wounds and survival patterns to be explored in a new way.

This process is about meeting yourself with honesty and compassion.

How Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) Works

Ketamine-Assisted Therapy is an evidence-based approach that combines the therapeutic use of Ketamine with Holistic Psychotherapy to support healing from treatment-resistant mental health disorders. We approach Ketamine treatment with care, intention, and deep respect for the emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of healing. This process is collaborative and personalized, designed to help you feel supported before, during, and after medicine experiences.

Research shows that Ketamine-Assisted Therapy can help reduce symptoms of:

  • Depression + anxiety

  • Trauma + PTSD

  • Chronic stress + burnout

  • Chronic pain conditions

  • Existential distress + grief

  • Substance use + addictive patterns

  • Psychological distress related to terminal illness

This work can also support spiritual exploration, emotional breakthrough, increased self-compassion, and a deeper sense of connection to yourself and your life.

Step 1: Find a Ketamine Therapist

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) begins with establishing a relationship with a KAP therapist.

Together, we explore your mental health history, current symptoms, personal goals, and intentions for Ketamine treatment. We complete a comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessment to determine whether KAP is an appropriate path for you, and we create a personalized treatment plan to best support your healing and growth.

Step 2: Connect with a Medical Prescriber

We will refer you to our partner Medical Prescribers (some are covered by insurance) to complete an evaluation, discuss your health history, and determine proper dosage, administration, and treatment frequency. When you receive a medical prescription, we begin the next steps.

Step 3: Preparation Sessions

We meet for a minimum of 3-5 Preparation sessions to help you feel grounded, safe, and supported before your first experience with the medicine. Together, we explore intentions and expectations, build somatic and emotional resources to bolster your nervous system, and prepare logistics to support a positive Ketamine Journey.

Step 4: Ketamine Journey Sessions

Journey sessions are the medicine-assisted portion of the KAP process. These sessions are intentionally designed to support your soul’s language and personal goals, and can incorporate guided meditation and relaxation, integrative yoga and somatic therapy, sound healing, and expressive arts as desired.

When scheduling Ketamine Journey sessions, we consider significant life transitions, environmental factors, stress levels, seasonal rhythms, and menstrual/hormonal cycles to help foster a the most beneficial and therapeutic experience.

Step 5: Integration Sessions

During the 1–5 days following Ketamine administration, the brain is in a “critical learning period” or heightened neuroplastic state. Integration sessions help you process insights, emotions, memories, and experiences that emerge during Ketamine Journeys. We focus on meaning-making, emotional processing, and behavioral changes that support lasting transformation. This is where insight becomes embodied change.

Step 6: Ongoing Support + Reassessment

KAP is not a one-size-fits-all process.

As treatment progresses, we continually reassess your experience, goals, and overall well-being to determine what is most supportive moving forward. Some individuals benefit from short-term support, while others choose longer-term integration and psychotherapy. Your treatment plan will evolve as your needs evolve.
