Discover the Art of Integration

What if the tension, numbness, and despair you are feeling was actually more normal than you were taught to believe?

Healing is a creative process — a journey of learning how to become more whole, integrated, and at home within yourself.

So many people move through life in survival mode. Stressed, overextended, trying to hold it all together, and unsure how to slow down, it’s easy to avoid what’s hurting and messy, to shame and reject parts of yourself, and to perform wellness out of exhaustion. The real healing begins with embracing the wildness of who you are, restoring a sense of belonging in your body, and reconnecting to your natural rhythms. Weaving earth-based wisdom and evidence-based practice, Wild Embrace Healing offers holistic therapy in Metro Denver and across Colorado.

About

Maria Borghoff MA, LPCC, E-CYT

Maria is reimagining mental health care as a sacred return to the mother within. In a culture that often pathologizes emotional complexity and disconnects us from our wisdom bodies, Maria believes that too many people suffer in silence or get stuck in patterns that drain their soul energy.

With an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, advanced training in Sri Vidya Tantra Yoga Meditation, a background in studio art, and ongoing supervision with perinatal researcher Laurel Hicks PhD, Maria combines in-depth somatic arts therapy with the grounded and energizing nature of collaboration. She is trained in EMDR, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Neurophysiology, and has studied with renowned teachers, including death doula Alua Arthur, tantric scholar Douglas Brooks, social artist Mel Chin, postpartum expert Roseanne Clark, and psychedelic medicine pioneer Craig Heacock. Maria served as a provider at CU Anschutz Women’s Behavioral Health and Wellness and has worked directly with thousands of individuals across cultures exploring the healing nature of creativity and the transformative power of rest and play.

Maria works with adults and couples, offering an organic and personalized approach grounded in the belief that liberation from suffering is possible for all beings. Whether you are seeking emotional alchemy, trauma healing, nervous system regulation, relationship support, psychedelic integration, deeper connection to self, or actionable strategies for change, Maria provides compassionate and clear guidance.

Based in Lakewood, Colorado, Maria is likely snuggling with her beloved dogs or tending to the garden with her husband.
